Unit Converter – Length, Weight, Temperature, More

I built this when working with international clients — different countries use different units, and switching between them in my head kept introducing errors. Length, weight, temperature, volume, speed, and data storage. Pick the category, enter the value, get the conversion.

A note from me

The most common conversion mistake I see: mixing up mass and volume. A cup is volume, a gram is mass — you can't convert between them without knowing the density of what you're measuring. A cup of flour and a cup of water weigh very different amounts. This tool converts within the same category, which is the correct approach. Don't use a cup-to-gram converter without a specific ingredient.

Frequently asked questions

What categories are supported?+

Length, weight, temperature, volume, speed, and digital storage. The six that come up most often.

Does it handle metric and imperial?+

Yes. Both systems are supported, and you can convert between them.

Can it convert mass to volume?+

No. Mass and volume are different things. Converting between them requires knowing the density of the specific substance.

Is my input stored?+

No. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing gets uploaded.

Are the conversions accurate?+

Yes. Standard conversion formulas are used — the same ones in engineering and scientific references.
