A note from me

For high-quality conversion, use 2x or higher resolution. If the PDF contains vector graphics or crisp text, higher resolution keeps edges sharp. For photos, standard resolution is fine and much smaller. Also, converting a 100-page PDF to images produces 100 separate files — check your Downloads folder to make sure they all arrived.

Real results from testing

These are actual measurements from using this tool, not estimates.

Extracting a single page for social

Before

20-page PDF, needed only the infographic on page 7

After

Converted page 7 to PNG at high resolution

Used the image in a LinkedIn post. Text stayed crisp.

Converting a scanned form to images

Before

Scanned form PDF, needed to send pages separately

After

Each page as a JPG

Sent individual pages to different people. Easier than dealing with the whole PDF.

Preparing a presentation

Before

PDF of old slides, needed to import them

After

Converted to PNGs and imported into the new deck

Resolution was the key — 2x setting kept everything readable on projectors.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded?+

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.

JPG or PNG — which should I use?+

JPG for photos and smaller files. PNG for sharp text, graphics, or when you need transparency.

Can I convert only some pages?+

Yes. Choose specific pages instead of converting the whole PDF.

What resolution should I use?+

Standard resolution for web use. 2x or higher for print or when text needs to stay sharp.

Does the conversion change my PDF?+

No. The PDF stays untouched. The images are new files.
