Restaurant menu QR code
Before
Paper menu, reprinted every time prices change
After
One QR code, linked to a Google Doc menu
Customers scan, menu opens. Updates don't need a reprint. Printed at A5 size, scans perfectly from 30cm away.
I made this because most QR generators add a tracking layer that expires after 14 days, so your printed QR codes stop working. This one creates permanent static QR codes directly in your browser — no account, no expiry, no tracking.
Your files are processed in your browser and never uploaded to any server.
I use this for my own business cards and printed flyers. One thing I learned the hard way: always test the QR code with at least two different phone cameras before printing. Colors that look fine on screen sometimes fail on cheap phone cameras. For logos, keep them under 25% of the QR code area — anything bigger breaks scanning.
