Social media giveaway
Before
1,200 comments, needed to pick one winner fairly
After
Picked a winner from the deduplicated list
Screenshotted both the list and the result. No complaints about fairness.
I built this after running a giveaway and realizing the online tools I found either required an account or biased toward earlier entries. Paste your names, one per line, and the tool picks one — with equal odds for everyone on the list.
5 names in the draw
Your files are processed in your browser and never uploaded to any server.
For giveaways where you're picking from social media comments, make sure you account for duplicate entries — sometimes the same person comments twice. Paste each unique person once. Also, for full transparency in a public giveaway, screenshot the list before picking, then screenshot the result. It builds trust with your audience.
